I just came back from a really enlightening conversation about life and relationships in general to a dark house and picked up two pieces of mail - one was for my car insurance premium for RM 1,704.60 (=_=!!!) which I have to pay before next month and the other was a padded largish envelope.
The writing at the back says "Sorry it took so long, but here you are". It's the autographed copy of The Star from two months back with a feature of me by Nicole on sixthseal.com.
I have read the article in the online version of The Star and was surprised at the more positive key in the actual paper.
The front page Saturday Metro text has "Drug blogger turns over a new leaf" which is a much better angle than the "Former drug blogger comes clean about his past" headline that the online version features.
I asked Nicole for an autographed copy of the paper and she finally got around to sending it to me. ;) The article is an interview about sixthseal.com and my experience as a drug blogger in the past and how I've turned my life around.
Nicole wrote "To Huai Bin, Hope you continue to thrive in life, be happy in whatever you do" on the top of the article...
...and autographed the bottom with "You've been Nicolekiss-ed!!" :)
Thanks for sending me the papers Nicole, much appreciated! I like the article in the off-line version, it's much more positive.

I am very you pick another good subject to blog about for readers. Growing up had then friends who thought been cool was doing drugs and boozs. Once they try to hook me and that made left them. They are not doing well in life due cutting school with minimun wage jobs. I put myself to college since lost my father and mother income for family expense.
Part time job and school and graduate with Master degree now in reseached in children education development. Don't stupid people push you into somethings you know it bad . If you can't help them diss them . Your future is how you make of it yourself.

My dog always growl at one of my friend long ago. I found why dog smell pot and crack on him and I did'nt know. Talked to him of habits and not long ago heard he went to rehab due cops and court made him. Now clean and is back in school to turn life around seeing many friends gradurate with degrees and good jobs.
By messing up and trying messed friends up but fail he learn the hard way. Better a way than no way at all.
Your success in life is how much you want to make of it and it great it happened. Some of my now late friends failed . They did'nt and the results is where they are now. Try to helped them and even went as far to informed the polices to get them off and into a program. But when on it again and that how they end life forever.
I know these guys parents and how they suffer the loss so who ever out there Stay Clean and Out of Drugs.
Your story how you turn around is so wonderful. My story is of a friend I had who wanted to be like and popular. Met a guy who was on drugs and got her hook too. I try to tell her to dump guy and get help. She could'nt and police found her dead at home from OD. I reported guy and they found drugs on him and pushing it too. He in prison now for a long time.
Her parents still at loss for what happened. Friend was a nice and quiet person. She was smart but not enough to get unhook and away from him.
I use to live in this apt. where downstairs my neighbor apt. had a strange smell coming out of it. My landlord did'nt do anything at all about it. Notice why some guy across the street look like a homeless looking at apt. Found he was cop and tenant was a drug pusher and user. They arested him somewhere for pushing to minors and now serving a long sentence. When he is out relocated to different place to live. His father also in prison for pushing too. Tenant girlfriend arested too for stealing drugs supplies from hospital where she used to work to help make(More Powerful Drugs)he sell.
I glad you clean yourself of habit and living a decent life. Landlord knew but did'nt care or fear him but endanger many tenants and some with childen in apt. building.
Most people may think guys are generally the drug users. Well girls get hook so easy due boyfriend on it. Many came from good family too. Met one guy who on me but no dump him so fast. Almost reported him for it. Now I wish I done so.

but yeah doing well so far still a long wa to come.
My brother got arested for stealing money from stores. He needed cashs for drugs and even hock many of his things to get it. He serve time in prison and gone to rehab. Now learning a skill to get his life back together.
You got out in time. My brother almost did'nt but now he got a second chance.
