McDonald's is having a promotional meal for the Beijing 2008 Olympics which is due to commence today on 08/08/08. It's called the Gold Medal Meal and consists of a Spicy Chicken McDeluxe, Onion Rings (or French Fries), Carbonated Drink and a Sundae for RM 14.80.
I went to check out the promotion just now during lunch break. It's to get into the Olympics fever and all, since the opening ceremony will be held tonight at 8 pm. The excessive amounts of eights are due to the number 8 being an auspicious figure for the Chinese.
The Gold Medal Meal also comes with a limited edition free Coca-Cola Contour Glass. This Beijing 2008 glass features five (5) different designs - Swimming, Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, and Archery.
I'm having the worst pimple outbreak in the history of my life. I've never had problems with pimples or acne and I'm not sure why my face looks like a pizza right now. My friend tells me I'm just having my adolescence late...at the ripe old age of 27. I think I'm going to have to get some pimple cream before the Olympics opening ceremony tonight...which means a guide to managing pimples is coming up. :)
The sheer amount of food in the Gold Medal Meal is certainly a combination guaranteed to induce a post-lunch coma.

oh gosh. me too. well, the pimples thing. it's really really bad. i'm sure u know since u met me when it was just turning out really bad. sigh. my uncle said i'm probably just having a late break out. GAWD.

In older males, if the outbreak is acne, rather than just "pimples" per se, then it usually caused by an increased level of testosterone.
Looking at your many recent blog posts, I think it is possible to figure out why! LOL!
goolooloo: I left my "dry" gel at Grace's place in KL and am left with the "wet look" gel which I don't really like. I only have hairspray as the other alternative and that really looks bad on me. :)

essentric: I've always been very blase about food consumption since I've never had problems with pimples. I guess it's time to be more careful. Age catching up with me and all that. I shouldn't drink during weekdays too. Note to self: Do not drink during weekdays. ;)

I've been getting a lot of comments lately that I look 28 or 29 which kinda bugs me since I like to look younger than my chronological age. I'm 27 but used to be able to pass for 21 or 23. Sigh. Oh well, I guess everyone has to grow old.
BTW, that's what I wear to the office. Plain shirt (loong sleeves) and black pants. I either wear a trenchcoat or a sweatshirt on Casual Saturdays coz it's against office policy to have visible tattoos.

Intensecure: I have two breakout areas, one on my cheek and the other below my lips. There are several huge pimples which hurts a little when I wash my face or rub against it and I have an irrisitable urge to pick at them, which I really shouldn't.
Increased level of testosterone causes acne eh? Yeah, I think I remembered reading about that. Guess I'll have to start taking female hormones to counteract it. ;)

probably. O.O because i myself never had skin this bad before. and my uncle was talking about his own experience where he also only started having breakouts at my age. he said not to worry cos it would clear eventually but it's still depressing nonetheless. :P

Kim: OMG! This does not bode well for us. Well, I haven't got any acne treatment or pimple cream, I thought it would be better to just let it heal on it's own. It's getting better now.
