Oh, you poor delicious morsel of a sago worm. I am so gonna rip your head off and eat you alive. ;)
I just came back from a trip to the beach in Mukah. We stayed at the Kingwood Resort and managed to sample live sago worms as well as umai during our trip there. More posts coming up later today. Cheers!

Sago worms raw is rather good. Clare can vouch for it too.

Mukah report coming right up - I'm doing the sago worm photos and videos tonight.
nkwai: Yup, full report up tonight! Cheers!
tasted one when I was in Bintulu. It taste like prawns!
xes: It tastes a little bit like cream to me. :)
Ewww... *ahem are you sure that's a sago worm? There are two types (as I was told) one is from the kelapa sawit tree and the other is the original sago worm from sago palm
whatever it is... i think i just lost my breakfast on my keyboard...
BaLQiZ: This is the sago worm that comes from sago palms. It's not from the palm oil trees, those look different. The one I ate is the original sago palm worm. :)
