Pizza Hut is having a new promotional pizza called the Starzbites Sausage Pizza. It comes with the tagline "Double the treat! Double the fun!" and is a new concept where mini cocktail sausages (like mine) are embedded in the crust - not as in sausage ring type filled crust (which was a previous promotion), but in a star burst configuration.
True to Pizza Hut's promotional pizza tradition, there is a spinner game involved. :) The rules of the game have changed this time though - you're allowed one spin, and if the spin goes to a free regular Starzbites pizza, you have to spin for a second time and get it right again to get the pizza. Otherwise, you default to the second spin's item.
I'm know to be spun all the time (old readers of sixthseal.com will get this reference ;)) so I was the designated spinner. I got a free salad (which is better than a free Pepsi, which is what I tend to get in the spinner games). :)
Thus, it was off to the salad bar to claim my free salad...
...which I'm not able to utilize to the full potential due to my lack of salad stacking skillz. ;)
This is the Starzbites Sausage Pizza with Hawaiian Supreme topping. It's claim to fame is the star burst configuration and the alternate toppings on the individual sausages. The New York style topping of mayonnaise and tomato sauce is on one sausage while the next sausage would have the Chicago style topping of honey mustard and relish.
The Starzbites sausage pizza is also given a sprinkling of black sesame seeds on the side of the star burst shaped pizza. It tastes quite good and is a rather novel presentation of a pizza.

4 pcs Breadstix
2 glasses of 7Up Revive
I am dying for a "Hawaiian Pizza" that is without Canadian Bacon....I have my eyes set on some good old Chicken pieces with my pineapple.... Damn Americans and their stupid Canadian Bacon....Actually, screw pizza, I want good old Hainanese (sp?) Chicken Rice...Hmm, I can't wait. Just 10 days! :-)

I got a free pepsi for my spin but the waitress was kind enuf to give me another chance, which I got 2 free deli wings.
The pizza ah? So so nia le... Prefer the old stuff cruz.

Ever since I came to U.S., I lost interest in pizza. The only time I will eat it is during a meeting.
Skwermy: 9 days till you're back. :) It's just a little more than a week. What is Canadian Bacon anyway? How different is it from regular bacon?
Dr. Pepsi: Well, I just ask them. For this one, I told the waitress that I want to take a photo with her. I think I said "Wait, lemme take a photo with you with me holding the spinner game" (the equivalent in BM).
Wilson: Yeah, the staff has the discretion to do that. I spinned to the salad and the waitress came back and asked if I wanted to spin again, and I told her it's alright. I don't want to get a Pepsi. :)
Deli wings is a good spin though. Stuff crust as in cheese stuffed crust or the old promotion with a sausage ring?

I don't eat much pizza as well, prefer other stuff to it. I haven't eaten burgers in a while too, come to think of it.

howshouse: It's worth checking out. I generally like Pizza Hut's promotions. I don't necessarily like the pizza itself, but I like their marketing. :)

jessy: Baby Pizza. I love the Pizza Hut Valentine's Day Pizza where it's made in the shape of a heart. I missed out this year's (and the previous one due to rehab) but will go next year. :)
