A photo story

There's the stringing of firecrackers over the balcony to avoid using the unwieldy pole method.

The lesser form of firecrackers (Shun Lee Hung) doesn't sound as loud nor does it have a lucky banner (it has a cloth instead) but is a common replacement considering the dearth of the traditional "fuck you" loud ass Chinese firecrackers.

We wait for the clock to strike 12 am.

Everyone lets off their firecrackers at the stroke of midnight.

A red carpet lies in our wake.

Other shenanigans like lighting two (or three, or four) firecrackers at once can be attempted at this point.

It's not Sibu if there isn't a man made fog after midnight! :)

We won't have it any other way. Here in Sibu, Sarawak, we aim to scare away the nien ghost the only way we know how to - light the fuses comrades! ;)

I haven't had a cig in 6 years. The worst part concerning stopping certainly is the 1st couple of weeks. Fortunately this part didn't last and things improved every day thanks to the e cigarette. Never give in. Simply just keep going with it and you will probably succeed permanently.
I have learned finally quitting can be extremely difficult. I started cancer sticks while I was just a kid. It was the most terrible mistake I've made. Today I'm older and I have chronic copd. I tried out each one of the quitting techniques however not one thing did the trick. My last hope is the smokeless cigarettes in the end.
I started off cigarettes while I was in my teens. This was the biggest mistake I've made. Now 20 years later and I've got chronic copd. Whilst attempting to giving up smoking, I discovered the electric cigarettes and i intend to try it out. With luck, it will help me with this particular disgusting addiction.
I have not had a smoke in over a year. The most severe part related to kicking the habit most likely the first few weeks. The good news is this stuff didn't last long and things got easier as time went on because of the electric cigarette. Don't quit. Please keep trying and you definitely will have success permanently.
It is really a good site. An writing something like this suggests just how profoundly the style is actually recognised by the publisher.
